AWESOME NEWS. See....homeland security does work. I'm proud to have been a part of the network of folks that "put the word out", and thanks Bill (Dr. Vecchioni) for acknowledging my participation in spreading the word. I am so happy that you have apparently recovered all of the battery's gear, especially your gun. Now as your unit's history goes.....limber up and I'll see you at Bentonville in March. I'll be shooting at you on Saturday and shooting with you on Sunday. Not registered? Come be a part of my detachment. Third Company Richmond Howitzers will be portraying Kelly's Battery, Chesterfield Light Artillery of South Carolina. And now in honor of Battery B, Michigan Light, we'll don the blue on Sunday in YOUR honor. That will be one iron six pounder there in your command. I am very happy for this outcome. Best wishes Bill, John, and Norm. Hope to meet you on the field. Oh....I'll call off the hounds. ;-)
