I am searching for information concerning the operations of Howe's Battery (Co. G, 4th US Artillery) at the battle of Greenbrier River, October 3, 1861. Unfortunately, the Official Records does not contain an after-action report by Howe. The only information I can find is contained in the various other official and newspaper accounts of the battle. Does anyone know of letters or reports from Howe's Battery relating to this engagement? Thanks!
