If that piece hadn't come from such a reputable source, I would have guessed "reenactor photo". Had to have been early war. No rank stripes and a saber. And a watch pocket on his shell jacket. Eagle belt plate. (sword belt)? Pretty stocky man. But ain't all us artillery reenactors a little stocky? Thanks for posting. Did you have any questions or issues with it?
