Isaiah Griffin, Co. B, 2 Batt'n AL Light Artillery

This should post under AL Civil War Messages, but I was not able to open. My questions concern Isaiah Griffin, Co. B, 2 Batt'n Alabama Light Artillery, Capt. Waters. He enlisted about March 1862 at Mobile or Escatawpa. Was present Jan-Apr 1862, but sick afterwards and discharged March, 1863. Would he have left Mobile area with his batt'n? Was he in a prison hospital in Rome, GA? How would he have returned to Washington Co.? Can you determine what his illness was? Ya do so well interpretating the files, I will appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you, Mary Nell
