Old Sacramento

I am looking for information on a cannon referred to as Old Sacramento. according to the book "The Civil War Dictionary by Mark Boatner, page 607 it was a Mexican War cannon captured by A. W. Doniphan at Sacramento, California and used by the Confederates at Carthage, Wilson's Creek, Lexington and lost at Pea Ridge, Ark. Another source says that the cannon was used by Bledsoe's battery and that it was orignally a 9 pound gun. On the Watkins Community Museum of History, Lawrence, Kansas website at http://www.watkinsmuseum.org/story/story11.htm says that they have the old sacramento cannon and that it was captured by Missourians and then recaptured again by Free-Staters from the Missourians during the Border war. They also say it stayed in Kansas during the Civil War. The two accounts don't add up. Were there two cannon by that name? I would like to know more about this subject if anyone has futher information on the subject.
