Thanks for the info on the 3rd Battalion. I knew the info on the bells but nothing about the battery service during the war. I work at Shiloh and am putting together an exhibit detailing the gun and it's history. Our gun is being loaned to the City of Edenton next month (they already own one of the others, I am not sure which).
