Aaron R. Burke-Rock Island POW Camp

I am searching for more information on Aaron R. Burke of the 15th Texas Cavalry, Company E. He enlisted as a private sometime in 1862 in the state of Texas and he was captured at Arkansas Post. He was transferred to Rock Island POW Camp and was listed as a prisoner there. He died sometime between 1863-1865 at Rock Island and I am guessing that he is buried there in the Confederate cemetery on the island. I have not been able to find him in any POW or cemetery records for any prisoner of war camp. If anyone could locate his name on the cemetery roster for the island or possibly even a record listing him as a pow, that would be great. I am a member of a local Sons of Confederate Veterans camp and we haven't been able to find any records on this man or when he died. I have tried searching with alternate spellings, etc.

Thank you,

Jacob Lake
