I believe I've sourced all the records sent.

The reports I forwarded were taken from the Official Records of the Civil War. It is available on the web at:

http://ehistory.osu.edu/books/official-records
and at
http://ebooks.library.cornell.edu/m/moawar/waro.html

You can identify the time and area coverage of each volume from the 2nd of the above sites. But can only search individual Volumes. Nor can you copy text.

Once you find the Volume you desire, you need identify the Serial number/s of that volume to access the first of the above sites. This site allows copying and pasting of text whereas the second site does not.

For the reports I cited of Capt’s Jenks and Smith. Go to the first site, Serial 8, pages 229-232. If you backtrack a few pages you will find the report of Colonel Greusel’s, 36th Illinois Infantry.

Advancing and backpacking pages is accomplished by the tabs at the bottom of the page.
