Officers for Guibor's battery before Guibor?

The guns of Guibor's battery were being used by Missouri State Guard Brig. Gen. Parsons at the outbreak of real hostilities in Missouri. They missed the initial skirmish/battle of Boonville, Missouri as they were off with Parson's at Tipton. During the retreat of the MSG into the Southwest corner of the state experienced artillerists Guibor and Barlow joined the party and were given command of the battery. So who had initial command of the battery? Does anyone know of any names of battery officers before that? The next mention of subordinate officers for the battery is in the Vicksburg paroles over two years later (Lt. Cornelius Hefferman and Lt. William Corkery.)

I found online an embellished piece about a skirmish with supposed Jayhawker cavalry by a Sgt. Hunt Wilson. However, it seems most likely that some other Capt. and Lt. would have been in charge before Guibor arrived, and then shuffled off to one of Parson's forming cavalry or infantry commands afterward.
