The Civil War Artillery Message Board

Re: National Registry of Surviving Civil War Canno

The Civil War Artillery Page went inactive about 5 or 6 years ago. Anyone have any idea why? It was maintained by Chuck Tenbrink of the First Michigan Light Artillery. It had a terrific forum, and remains a good resource. I hate it's not being maintained.

Regarding the Registry of Surviving Civil War Artillery, I was fortunate enough to add almost a dozen pieces to the list about 4 years ago. Most of these are Boat Howitzers, with a Noble Bros. tube, and a Revere-made Napoleon in a collection displayed at the North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa Alabama.
