Re: David Kendall found and also a deserter

Hi, that would have been me. Mr. Kendall was 1st a Confederate deserter and then taken to Fort Delaware only to join the Northern Ranks. He would later change his first name and desert his Connecticut Cavalry unit. Mr. Kendall died in Columbus, Ohio and according to some newspaper articles lived at your address. When I research I try and cover all of the bases. It was a pleasure to have met you and as far as I know you live in the only remaining home in Columbus, Ohio whose home was built by a former Confederate of Picketts Charge fame at Gettysburg. Neat Home too! I will be at the Camp Chase Memorial Service on Memorial Day if you would like to stop by and say hello. Columbus, Ohio has a lot of interesting historical sites. I can also find you one of those newspaper interviews that Mr. Kendall gave in 1913. Thx Dennis
