18th Ga. Infantry

With Jim's gracious agreement, I am asking if there are any books, diaries, etc., on the 18th Ga. Infantry, ANV. Particularly Co. A. They mustered in at Kennesaw, Ga, in April, 1861. Until after Antietam, they were assigned to the Texas Brigade, and fought in the cornfield. Hood had been promoted, and Col. Wofford commanded the Texas Brigade. In November 1862 they were transferred to Cobb's Brigade when Davis wanted state troops together. They were at the stone wall at Fredericksberg, when Cobb was killed. The brigade then became known as Wofford's Brigade. They fought in the wheatfield at Gettysberg, earlier being at Salem Church during Chancellorsville. My GGF had died in May, 1862 at Seven Pines. The 18th went to Chickamauga with Longstreet, but were not engaed there. They fought at Knoxville, where Col Ruff, the C.O. was killed, and Co. A Capt. Lemon was captured. My great uncle Francis Boring was wounded at Spottsylvania, and captured in July while on furlough to heal. He was sent to Camp Douglas. My other great uncle, 4th sgt Alexader Boring was captured October 19, 1864, at Cedar creek. He went to Point Lookout. Both were paroled in June, 1865. Anything to fill out these bare bones would be appreciated. Thanks. Stan
