Check with the Wisconsin Vets Museum in Madison WI they may have info on Old Abe feathers being sold. I would donate to the them if I were looking for a place for your feather. It probably wouldn't get lost in the national shuffle of artifacts, and would get displayed. You could also try the Kenosha Civil War Museum, I'm sure they would show interest as well. Both are great museums and if you have never been there you should go. bg
