There probably is you just have to contact1.) National Archives or 2.) go to library and use their ancestry account if you don't have one.You might ask Mr.George Martin to look up he has a paid service. It was not necessary to furnish your own gun though it did happen prior to the fall of 1862.When the regiment mustered weapons were given.Different in the south. He might of did all this on his own as I said there was alott of local pressure to enlist before the draft.You might contact the county seat and see if they have any records.I wish I could give you the info. Much has happened and I can only point you in the direction.Thanks
