Hi Connie On the weekend of Dec.2-3, 2006, the Battle of Prairie Grove, Arkansas will be re-enacted. Praire Grove is located just southwest of Fayetteville, Arkansas, about 270 miles from Kansas City. I'm sure that there will be Artillery units taking part. The 1st. Kansas Battery took part in the battle of Prairie Grove on Dec. 7,1862. Check the website for Prairie Grove State Park for Information.
