What was the effect of terain on range? If a gun is 100 feet above a target, how much would the range increase?
200 feet? If the gun was 100 feet below the target, how much would the range decrease ? Was the range increase and decrease be the same? Was the ratio of change the same for all guns? all smooth bores? all rifles?
